Kitchen renovation

See your new kitchen before you renovate

Fronts, worktops, tiles, colours – a kitchen renovation is full of decisions. Roomfixer lets you see them in your own kitchen first.

Realistic ideas, in your own kitchen

Kitchen pictures online are beautiful, but they are not your kitchen. Roomfixer works from a photo of the kitchen you have, so the ideas fit your layout, your windows and your light.

Cabinets, appliances, sinks and the layout keep their place. When you choose a full redesign, Roomfixer may give them new surfaces – fronts, handles, worktops, tiles and taps – in the style you pick.

What you can try

  • New cabinet fronts and handles in another colour or wood
  • A new worktop and splashback
  • Different wall colours and flooring
  • A dining spot, lighting and decor that suit the new look
  • A full style change – from Scandinavian to industrial or French country

Try several directions and compare them side by side. When you know what you like, bring the pictures to your kitchen supplier or builder – a picture often says more than a long description.

Before you call the builder

A kitchen renovation is one of the biggest projects in a home. Seeing the direction first can save a lot of second thoughts. Use Roomfixer to agree at home on the style, then check measurements, materials and prices with professionals.

Not ready for a full renovation? Try a new wall colour or a new floor – smaller changes can make a big difference.

FAQ

Questions and answers

Will Roomfixer move my kitchen cabinets?

No. Cabinets, appliances, sinks and the layout stay where they are. When you choose a full redesign, they may get new fronts, handles, worktops and tiles in the new style.

What kind of photo works best?

A sharp photo in daylight, taken from a doorway or corner so you see as much of the room as possible. Hold the phone straight at chest height. Empty, furnished and messy rooms all work.

Is the result exactly what my room will look like?

The pictures are made with AI and are meant as inspiration. Sizes, colours and details can differ from real life, so check measurements and samples before you buy or build.

Which interior styles are there?

There are 36 styles, including Scandinavian, Japandi, minimalist, mid-century modern, industrial, Boho, coastal, Art Deco, Swedish Gustavian, Hamptons, wabi-sabi, organic modern, quiet luxury and a Christmas style. See them all on the styles page.

Is Roomfixer free?

You can try Roomfixer for free. To create more designs and use every feature, including trying your own furniture, you can subscribe to Roomfixer Plus weekly or yearly in the app. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.

Will my walls and windows change?

No. Roomfixer is designed to keep the room itself: walls, windows, doors, the ceiling and built-ins stay where they are with the same shape. Depending on what you choose, furniture, decor, colours and surfaces change.
